Magda’s is a miraculous story. She was sexually-abused as a child. This suffering manifested itself as anger in her adult life, against her own children. The local government forced her to be separated from her children and husband. And for two years, as she lived separately, a professional psychologist helped her to get back together with her family. As she shared this with the audience at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, it struck a chord with many.
